Over the years Valenza Public Library has always put great attention to the recognition and purchase of books about goldsmith art , available on the national and international market that constitute the goldsmith section, thus we can define it one of the  richest  specialized collection in Italy.

About a thousand books from all around the world  are contained in the  section, which includes technical manuals, exhibition catalogues,  jewellers’ monographs, clocks, gemmology, ethnic jewels, history of jewellery, styles, techniques, economic analyses.

This precious heritage occupies an independent space inside the Library and it represents an extraordinary free data base, a real orientation map for students, researchers, goldsmiths, designers interested in jewellery not only locally but also internationally.
